About Us

Little Rainbow is a privately owned nursery set in am imposing Victorian building in central Stratford, in the London Borough of Newham. The nursery is a new settling providing care for children from 3 months up to school age.

 

At Little Rainbow, children are our focus. We aim to provide good quality care within a happy and loving environment as well as well as recognise the development and aim to promote all areas of their physical, intellectual, language, social and emotional skills through a variety of  activities, whilst recognising and respecting a child's individual needs.

In the Ofsted Inspection 2010, Little Rainbow Nursery attained 'Good' overall and 'Outstanding' for 'The effectiveness of the setting's engagement with parents and carers '

What Ofsted says about us: 

●  Children are offered a wide selection of good quality resources within an attractive open plan child friendly environment

●  Pre-school children are learning to recognise letters of the alphabet through games and discussion and are writing their own names and simple sentences, this helps children during the transition stage to school

●  All children develop problem solving, numeracy and reasoning skills

●  Children have good opportunities to learn about their own and others diverse cultural backgrounds

●  Toddlers align puzzles, build bricks and recognise numbers up to 10

●  Children received water and milk throughout the day

The outdoor play area is organised, so children have a broad range of opportunities to develop physically within a creative environment

●  The management and staff team meet the individual needs of the children by the high quality provision they offer and by working exceptionally well with their parents
